EDUCATION: The movement to amplify the voices of Virginia voters continues to thrive due to those who have stood up and taken ownership of their democracy. Thousands of grassroots advocates have invested in our efforts, and it’s their investment that makes this all possible.
Most of our work is done through our Foundation (501c3). These donations fund our statewide education efforts and general operations - they are the backbone of what we do and are tax-deductible.

ADVOCACY: Our direct lobbying and advocacy work is done through our 501c4. This allows us to work on passing specific legislation at the state and local level. These donations are not tax-deductible but are still vital to our success.

When you support UpVote Virginia, your dollars go directly towards issues that modernize our democracy – from expanding Ranked Choice Voting, to making government more transparent through stronger laws concerning campaign finance and ethics, to pushing for fully independent redistricting.
